Barbara A. Hackett

Barbara A. Hackett of Maybrook, NY, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Newburgh. She was 49.

The daughter of Robert T. Hackett and the late Anna Marie Byrnes Hackett, she was born October 26, 1971 in Ft. Rucker, AL.

Barbara was a teacher for 17 years at Berea Elementary School, Montgomery, NY.

Survivors include her father  Col. Robert T. Hackett Ret., sister  Ann Marie  Herman and brother Bob Hackett.

She was predeceased by her mother Anna Marie Hackett.

A memorial mass will take place Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 12pm at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

Interment of ashes will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Name of Mary Church.
