Bruce Peter Campo

Bruce Campo of Montgomery, NY passed away after a long mental, physical and emotional battle at Nyack Hospital on May 14th, 2024. Bruce was 69 years old, born on October 23rd 1954 in Fort Lee, NJ. He was a decorated salesman, serving multiple companies throughout his career. Bruce was known for being an outgoing, lovable, personable, and charming husband & father. He was loved by so many.         

He was retired from C&C Inc. where he worked with his late wife, Patti, for many years. Bruce was also known for his volunteer EMT work in the town of Montgomery as well as his sponsorships with the local AA programs.

He was the son of the late Alfred & Catherine Mary Campo of Fort Lee, NJ.

Bruce is survived by his loving son, David, the pride and joy of his life, and his fiance Maria Skermo.

He will be greatly remembered by his siblings: Peter Campo of Brick, NJ, Sue Ann Baietti & husband, Richie of Millsboro, DE; in-laws: Kathy Riggins of Schroon Lake, NY, Peter Riggins & wife, Susanne of Simsbury, CT, BettyAnn Vegliando & husband, Paul of Wallkill, NY, Kathleen Riggins of Rosendale, NY, MJ Coddington & husband, Tim of Wallkill, NY, Nancy Hecht & husband, Bill of Wallkill, NY, Ellyn Riggins and partner, Delbe Spath of Wilmington, NC, and Barbara Demetriou & husband Jimmy of Pine Bush, NY.

Bruce is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved & adored: Matt, Michelle, Andrew, RJ, Matthew, Michael, Becky, Jennie, Tim, Megan, Katie, Sara, Jason, Brian, Derek, Kerry, Nicki, Jeff, Amy, Pete, Carly, Abby, Chad, Danielle, Corey, Vanessa, Stacy, Jimi, Kelly, & Bradley. In addition to his great family members, very special friends Eddie & Jeanie, Ray & Magda Skermo, Jeff & Ann DeGraff.

Bruce was pre-deceased by his incredibly loving wife, Patricia, parents Alfred & Catherine Mary Campo, in-laws; Pete & Lillian Riggins, Daniel, Timothy, Richard & Karen Riggins.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12549.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., on Saturday May 18th, 2024 at Most Precious Blood Church, Walden, NY 12586.

Burial will follow at Modena Rural Cemetery.
