Bruce Maroney

Bruce Maroney passed away on June 29th, 2026 in Delhi, New York after a brief illness. 

Bruce was born on May 30, 1955 to Thomas (Moe) Maroney and Teresa Del Torto Maroney. Bruce grew up on the family farm on Albany Post Road in Montgomery and graduated Valley Central High School in 1973. The Maroney family has been part of day to day Montgomery life since 1846.

During his life Bruce worked in farming and spent most of his adult life in Delhi , New York where he settled down. He was blessed with many friends over the years, notably Dave Capicchioni whom he knew since childhood and remained friends till the end of his life and Steve Stuart whom he also knew since his Montgomery days. He shared many good times and laughs with them all. 

Bruce is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Tommy and Stephen and his younger sister Susie Maroney Doughty. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews as well as many cousins. He will be missed by them all. 

A graveside service will take place this Friday, July 10th at noon at St. Marys cemetery in Montgomery where he will be interred.
