Carmen Martinez

Carmen Martinez of Montgomery, NY, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, in Montgomery.

She was 82.

The daughter of the late Manuel and Evarista Rivera Sanchez, she was born July 16, 1941 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.

Carmen worked as a bus driver for Jo-Lo Bus Company, Queens, NY, before her retirement.

She will always be loved and missed by husband Eduardo Martinez, daughter Debra Valentin  & Edwin, son Edward Martinez & Inalvis, daughter Brenda Martinez, daughter Bridget White & Kenneth, grandchildren Rolando, Zerlinda, Michael, Lawrence, Chamad, Jenna, Christina, Christopher, Savanna, Tyler, Brittany, Autumn, great grandchildren  Jeremy, Alex, Layla, Christian, Jackson, Lauren, Kamden, Junior, Harlem, Faye, Remy, Kalisa, Indie, Christiana, sister Ivette Rivera & Jimmy, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Samuelson, son Anthony Martinez and infant son Ronald Martinez.

Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2024, 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Saturday June 15, 2024, 9am-12:30pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

Burial will be follow Saturday’s visitation in Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor, NY.
