Charles Henry “Chuck” Fox Sr. passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was 82 years old.
Born in the Bronx, NY, Chuck proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964. Following his service, he began a long and successful career as a technician with Xerox Corporation, where he worked for 25 years. After retiring, he channeled his strong work ethic and love for the outdoors into his own business, Action Outdoor Services.
Chuck was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. He especially cherished time with his beloved wife of 63 years, Patricia, and their growing family. Family was the heart of his world, and he found the greatest joy in simply being surrounded by those he loved.
He was a devoted father to Deb Smith and her husband Brett, Chuck Fox and his wife Kelly, Betsy Perrego and her husband Frank, and Treesh Lucey-Vittorini and her husband David. Chuck was incredibly proud of his grandchildren—Dave, Daron, Toph, Mike, Matthew, Nic, Billy, Jesse, Justin, Samantha, Lucas, and Tyler—along with their wonderful spouses and partners. He was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren, with three more on the way, and shared a special bond with many nieces and nephews.
Chuck is survived by his sister, Barbara Olson of New Hampshire, with whom he shared a lifelong bond.
One of Chuck’s most cherished traditions was the annual family trip to Lake George, where everyone came together for a long weekend of love, laughter, fishing, and singing around the campfire—memories that will forever live in their hearts.
The family would also like to recognize Tina Hein, a lifelong friend of his daughter, who has been a constant source of love and support over the years—and especially during the past few weeks. Chuck and Pat often lovingly referred to her as their daughter, a reflection of the deep connection they shared.
Chuck was predeceased by his parents, Henry C. and Maerose Fox.
His legacy of love, strength, humor, and unwavering devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
