Charles F. Judson Sr.

Charles F. Judson Sr. passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, in Middletown. He was 85.

The son of the late John and Isabelle Miller Judson, he was born August 6, 1939 in Goshen, NY.

Charles was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. He was involved in many sports at Montgomery High School. His achievement in sports has been displayed in the Montgomery Village Museum. He continued his love of sports into college and after graduation, played in an adult softball league. Charles also enjoyed a fun game of horseshoes.

Charles and his wife Brenda enjoyed keeping their garden. He was an avid gardener, giving special care and attention to his flower and vegetable garden. Charles loved every holiday. Around Christmas he could be found playing the role of Santa for many to enjoy.

He worked as a contractor for many years. He was also a transportation coordinator for Manheim New York, Newburgh, NY.

Charles is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter Lisa, daughter Wendy, stepson Raymond LeBrun, stepson Dennis LeBrun, stepdaughter Kathy Gualtieri & Michael, stepdaughter Christine LeBrun & Marty, grandchildren Chloe, Thomas, Michael, Shaun, Christopher, Kevin and many more, great grandchildren Niko, Rome, Raelyn, and many more.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Terri Smith, son Charles F. “Chuckie” Judson Jr., and brothers John Judson and Donald Judson. 

Memorial visitation with be Saturday, October 19, 2024, 11am-1pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A memorial service will follow at 1pm.
