Cheryl L. Fairweather

Cheryl L. Fairweather of Maybrook, NY, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at home with her daughter by her side, in Glen Spey, NY. She was 71.

The daughter of the Raymond and Marion Lake, she was born July 29, 1949.

Cheryl was a former housekeeping supervisor for Horton Hospital, Middletown, NY. She dedicated her life to her family.

Cheryl was the widow of Donald A. Fairweather. She was predeceased by her brother Gary Lake and his wife Bernadette.

Survivors include her son Donald A. Fairweather Jr., daughter Anita Hunt; Grandchildren Mark Doty, Edward (EJ) Hunt & his fiance Katie Mortensen, and Noah Shaw-Fairweather; Brothers Jack Lake & his wife Paula, Wesley Lake & his wife Anne, Raymond Lake.

Cheryl was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

A graveside service will take place Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2pm, in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY. Rev. James VanHouten will officiate.

Due to travel, the family will have a private celebration of her life in the Spring 2021.
