Connie Regino

Connie Regino of Wallkill, NY was heavily involved with her community. She spent many years attending and volunteering with the Saint Charles Borromeo, in Gardiner, Helping Hands food pantry. She worked with the board of elections in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Wallkill and passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at home.  She was 100 years old.

The daughter of the late Giovanna and Anthony Longobardi, she was born May 04, 1921 in New York City.

Connie was the chairperson of the Brooklyn Republican Committee and worked several years at Fae-Mart. Connie also enjoyed cooking big Sunday dinner for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Richard and his wife Marie, her granddaughter Jacquelyn Morgano and her husband Scott, her grandson Richard and his wife Karen, four great grandsons Giovanni, Antonio, Dominic, and Matthew as well as her sister Filomina Carfizzi.   

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, and her sister Mary.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10am at St Charles Borromeo, Rt. 44-55, Gardiner, NY.
Fr. Matthew Yatkauskas will officiate.

Entombment will be in St. Johns Cloister in Queens, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
