Conrad G. Velders

Conrad “Connie” G. Velders of Wallkill, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Newburgh, NY. He was 92.

The son of the late Conrad A. Velders and Goldie (Christian) Velders, he was born March 28, 1933 in Wallkill, NY.

Connie was retired from Fair Rite Products, Wallkill, NY where he worked for nearly 59 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Wallkill Rod and Gun Club. He also loved riding his bike, especially on the Walden-Wallkill Rail Trail. Connie also liked to travel, and in his younger years enjoyed riding his motorcycle. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandkids.

Connie is survived by his wife Karen, son Gregory Velders and his wife Kelly, son Dale Velders and his wife Jennifer, son Kyle Velders and his wife Bethany, grandchildren Kyle, Vayda, Zayne, Ayden, Dylan, Betsy, Adam, great grandchildren Jaxen and Zoe, and Zoe’s mom Sarah Tamburo, mother-in-law Elsie Frei, niece Linda Malloy and nephew Scott Velders.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law John and Marge Velders and best friend George Row.

Cremation will take place privately.
