Darrin Elwood Bogert, of Walden, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was 59.
The son of the late Roger Bogert and Sylvia (Stetler) Bogert, he was born April 22, 1966 in Ridgewood, NJ. Darrin lived a life marked by hard work and dedication to his family. He proudly followed in his father’s footsteps, driving a tractor trailer professionally, and worked tirelessly to provide for his devoted wife, Lisa, and their six children: Michael, Jessy, Matthew, Daniel, Axel, and Jake.
A true patriot, Darrin held traditional values close to his heart. He respected the efforts of blue-collar workers and believed in the importance of hard work. When he wasn’t on the road, you could find him tinkering with cars, always happy to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. Darrin had a soft spot for pets and loved surrounding himself with the many animals his wife brought home, mostly with his blessing.
Darrin is survived by his loving wife, children, sister, Donna Forster and her husband George, and sister Deneen Bogert, nine nieces, one nephew, and extended family. His generous spirit and willingness to help others will forever be missed by everyone who knew him.
