Diane Webb

Diane Webb of Montgomery, NY, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Beacon, NY. She was 83.

The daughter of the late Arthur Terwilliger and Emma (O’Neill) Vandermark, she was born November 18, 1941, in Ellenville, NY.

Diane was employed as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Starr in Montgomery, NY.

Diane loved planting her flowers yearly and walking.  Prior to Alzheimer’s, you would see her and her husband hand in hand walking the streets in the town she called home for 57 years.  Her smile was infectious and always had a conversation with everyone she encountered.  Diane always enjoyed family gatherings and couldn’t wait for the next one to happen.  Diane loved the beach and would travel with her husband to Rehoboth Beach, DE twice a year up until Alzheimer’s made it difficult to leave home.  Her husband, Ronnie never questioned how to take care of his wife as this disease set in as it was his daily focus to give her the best care every day.  His care for his wife showed his commitment to his marriage vows.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Ronald Webb, son David Walsh & his wife Beth, daughter Rhonda Cohen, son Chris Webb & his wife Danielle, beloved Nana to Grandchildren Lauryn Webb, Joshua Webb, Connor Walsh, Nichole Rubino (Matt), and Keri Walsh, five great grandchildren, sister-in-law Evelyn Terwilliger, cousin Mary Best and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Ronald Terwilliger, sister Shirley Schnegelsberger and brother Douglas Terwilliger.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Audrey, who participated in Diane’s care for the last three years, allowing her to stay in the comfort of her own home. Her attentive care and kindness over the years led her to be a part of the Webb family.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2024, 5pm-7pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Hudson Valley SPCA.
