Doris Marion (Neumann) Brue

Doris Marion Neumann Brue went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2022. 

Daughter of the late Alwin  W. & Amelia Kalmbach Neumann,  She was born on September 15, 1945 in Bronx, NY. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her son, Warren Edward Brue; her daughter, Laura Suzanne Brue Cleary; her sister & brother-in-law Franklin and Barbara N. Cole and brothers Alwin jr. & Alan Neumann. 

She is survived by her son, Alan W. Brue & his wife Jett; her daughter Jennifer E. Brue Palmatier and son’s Nathaniel P. Palmatier III & Benjamin W. Dew; her Son-in-law Sean Cleary (Laura’s husband) & their daughter Sarah A. Cleary; her brother & sister-in-law Roger & Nancy Neumann; cousin Richard Neumann and several nieces & nephews. 

Doris grew up in Yonkers, NY and moved to the Town of Montgomery in 1973. She was the former co-owner of the D & H Canal store in Cuddebackville, NY  & a retired employee of the Town of Montgomery. She also was the bookkeeper for the late James Fischer at Montgomery Veterinary Practice in Montgomery, NY a part-time position she held for 29 years. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, NY. 

Doris was also an avid needle worker & a prize winning quilter. Most of all she loved her family and the Lord.
