Dorothy Ann Killeen of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in Goshen. She was 93.Born October 26, 1932, in Yonkers, NY, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Victor and Anna (Mehalko) Dias.
Dorothy graduated from Ellenville High School and Grace Martin Secretarial School in Pittsburgh, PA. While living in Ellenville, she was a member of St. Mary St. Andrew Catholic Church.Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 73 years John "Jack" Killeen.
Known affectionately as "Dot," she is survived by her loving children: Vickie Eisenrauch and her husband Bill; Karen Warren and her husband Rob; Jacqueline Killeen; and John Killeen and his wife Aimee.
Dot was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kate, Rob, Rachel, Emily, Elizabeth, Zachary, Daniel, Molly and Jack. Her great grandchildren - Wyatt, Lily, Sadie and Lucy - brought her immeasurable joy. "Grandma Dot" was a constant and cherished presence in their lives.
Dot loved bringing people together. From family gatherings to the amazing parties she hosted for her wide circle of friends, she was always the "hostess with the mostest." An exceptional cook, her holiday meals became the stuff of family legend.
Dot and Jack shared a love of travel and many adventures together. She was also an avid golfer and tennis player, and during their years in Ellenville they were longtime members of the Shawangunk Country Club, where they formed many lasting friendships.
Dot was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor. She had a way of catching you off guard with a perfectly timed remark, always delivered with warmth and a twinkle in her eye.
Above all, Dot loved her family deeply. Her family remains profoundly grateful for the joy, laughter, and steady presence she brought to their lives. She is now reunited with her husband Jack, where she always wanted to be.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 11am-1pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.A service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
