Douglas M. Kemper of Hyannis, MA, a Retired Master Sergeant in the US Army and a former resident of the area passed away on Sunday January 24, 2021 in Massachusetts. He was 77.
The son of the late John H. Kemper, Sr., and Eunice Walton Kemper, he was born August 14, 1943 in Covington, VA.
He served in the Army for over 30 years attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.
He was a member of Most Precious Blood Church and the Knights of Columbus #9254.
He was the widower of Mary Kemper.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Edna Gayton and her husband, Thomas of Hyannis, MA, Granddaughters, Margaret Gayton & Elizabeth Gayton, Grandson, Dominic Pastino and his wife Brianna of Fort Bragg, NC, Great Grandson, Anthony Pastino.
Numerous Brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews
Visitation will be 5-8 Pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586
A mass of Christian burial will be 1030 am, on Friday January 29, 2021 at Most Precious Blood, Walnut St., Walden.
Father Thomas Colucci will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Gardiner.
