Karsten, Jr. of Bullville. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Kristie Ackert of Florida, Emily Malina of Philadelphia and Kyle Karsten and Britta Karsten-Lewter both of North Carolina. She also had two great-granddaughters Payton Karsten and Henley Lewter and a great grandson Joseph Bear Karsten, all of North Carolina.
Marie was the widow of William R. Karsten, who passed away in 1991, and John Marshall, who died in 2000.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law Thomas A. Malina.
