Elizabeth M. (Turner) Roberts

Elizabeth M. Turner Roberts of Walden, NY, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, in New Paltz. She was 90.

The daughter of the late Benjamin Turner and Mabel Welsh Turner, she was born November 18, 1935, in Walden.

Elizabeth was an accounting clerk for Interstate Bag, Walden.

She was widow of both her first husband Frank Schoonmaker and second husband Leo Roberts.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Sharon Dziewatowski, daughter Paula Vail and her husband Rick, grandchildren Adam Vail, Tucker Vail & his wife Emily, Patrick Roberts & his wife Liz, Alyssa Petraznik & her husband Mike, Michael Roberts & his wife Katie; great grandson Stoney Vail; sister  Judy Futo; daughter-in-law Pam Roberts; nieces Karen Wild &  her husband Roger, Julie Tilly, Cindy Commeau & her husband Paul, Kimmy Taylor, as well as several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Along with her late husbands and parents, she was predeceased by her sons Frankie Schoonmaker and Calvin Schoonmaker and son-in-law Ted Dziewatowski.

Visitation will take place Thursday, February 12, 2026, 4pm-7pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11am at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Wallkill Valley Cemetery.
