Emily Ann Gormley of Walden, NY, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Walden. She was 20.
The daughter of James and Stephanie A. Sercia Gormley, she was born March 14, 2001 in Brooklyn.
Emily was an amazing artist and volunteered at the Walden Humane Society.
Survivors include her parents Jim and Stephanie Gormley of Walden, brother Joey Gormley of Walden, maternal grandparents Anthony & Emily Sercia of Florida, many aunts, uncles and cousins and loving animals.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be Monday, May 10, 2021, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY.
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 8:00pm. Rev. James VanHouten will officiate.
Cremation will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Hudson Valley Chapter, 120 Wall St., 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
