Filomena "Fay" O. (Longobardi) Carfizzi

Filomena “Fay” O. Carfizzi of Wallkill, NY, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, in Wallkill.  She was 94.

The daughter of the late Antonio and Giovanna Tedeschi Longobardi, she was born October 30, 1926 in lower Manhattan.

Fay attended St. Benedict’s Chapel, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She also volunteered with the Girl Scouts Sarah Wells Council and enjoyed running Bingo for many years for Most Precious Blood School, Walden.

She was the widow of Joseph A. Carfizzi, Sr.

Survivors include her son Joseph A. Carfizzi Jr. & Patricia of Montgomery, NY, daughter Jo Ann Burden & Philip of North Carolina and grandchildren Thomas Burden & Theresa Burden.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters  Connie and Mary.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:30am, at St. Benedicts Chapel, Wallkill, NY.

Burial will be in Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in Wallkill, NY.
