Frank J. Turner of Wurtsboro, formerly of Montgomery, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, in Middletown. He was 83.
Frank was born March 2, 1938 in Poughkeepsie and served in the US Air Force.
He was the owner and operator of Turner Cleaning Service in Montgomery, as well as a retired respiratory therapist. He was an avid bow shooter and participated in several competitions, earning the nickname “Bow Man”. He was a life member of the Montgomery Fire Department- where he held several positions, and was a former member of the Walden Volunteer Ambulance. Frank also enjoyed karate for many years.
Survivors include his wife MaryBeth Kaufmann Turner at home, son Brian Turner and his wife Bonnie of Montgomery, daughter Laurie Yonkin and her husband Steven of Rock Hill, daughter Kayla Turner and her fiancé Mike Hoffman of Wallkill and several very special cousins, who were more like brothers and sisters to him
He was predeceased by his loving grandparents and Aunt Skeets, who was more of a mother to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
