Franklyn Stafford Bishopp

Franklyn Stafford Bishopp, of Montgomery, NY, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Sleepy Hollow, NY. He was 86.

The son of the late Earle Bishopp and Margaret O’Reilly Bishopp, he was born February 15, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY.

Franklyn served in the United States Army and was a retired insurance adjuster.

He was the widower of Catherine Byrnes Bishopp.

Franklyn is survived by his son Frank Bishopp Jr. & his wife Cathy, daughter Judith Cooney & her husband Michael, son Brendan Bishopp & his wife Amy; grandchildren Brenna (RJ) Berger, Mariah (Charlie) Thayer, Matthew Bishopp, Jillian Bishopp, Erin-Rose Cooney, Shaina Cooney, Margaret Bishopp, Collin Bishopp; great grandson Aiden Berger and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife he was predeceased by his six brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 3, 2024, 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A Funeral Mass will take place Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10 :30am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

Cremation will take place privately.
