Fred D. McMann

Fred D. McMann Jr. of Newburgh, NY, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Newburgh. He was 88.

The son of the late Fred McMann and Gladys DeGroat McMann, he was born May 27, 1937, in Wallkill, NY.

Fred worked as a computer chip inspector for IBM, Fishkill, NY. He loved to travel and always loved being around his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was the widower of Irene L. McMann.

He is survived by his son Frederick D. McMann & Anna of Tennessee, daughter Linda Terwilliger & Bill of Modena, daughter Donna Birere & Brian of Montgomery, 8 Grandchildren Kyle, Nicole, Tiffany, Tanya, Kristin, Steven, Heather, Tyler, and 14 Great Grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife and his parents.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11am at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, 1011 Route 52, Walden, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Town of Newburgh Ambulance.
