Gail Ruth (Manzo) Dolu

Gail Ruth Dolu (née Manzo), 67, of Shawangunk, NY, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

She is survived by her sons Christopher Dolu and David Dolu and his wife Amanda Dolu; her beloved grandson Silas Dolu; her brother William Manzo and his wife Debrah Manzo; and many nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica Dolu, her husband Bulent Dolu, her father William Manzo, and her mother Doris Manzo.

A devoted Christian, Gail lived her life with faith and love. She cherished time with family and friends, and held a special place in her heart for her church community, where she formed lasting friendships. Gail worked for many years with First Student as a bus aide for special needs children, where she was known for her kindness and patience, before retiring. She was also deeply committed to giving back, generously donating to and volunteering with many causes throughout her life.

Above all, Gail loved her children immensely and found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her faith, and her unwavering love for her family.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:30am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2520 Route 208, Walden, NY 12586.

Burial will follow at Bruynswick Rural Cemetery, Hoagerburgh Road, Wallkill, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
