Gerard F. Mackey, “Big Jer”, “Jerry”, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in Middletown.  He was 76.

The son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Gibbons) Mackey, he was born June 26, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY.

Jerry was an accountant for the NYC Comptroller. He was an avid numismatist and a big sports enthusiast.

He is survived by cousins Ann Marie Sollazzo and Thomas R. Mackey other cousins and extended family

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his twin brother Michael.

Burial will take place privately in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
