Helen Idris of Montgomery, NY, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Montgomery.  She was 98.

The daughter of the late Henry Phillipsberg and Leopoldine Bobrick, she was born August 24, 1925 in Vienna, Austria.  

She was the widow of Mohamed Idris.

Helen was a retired hairdresser and owner of Helene's House of Beauty and a postal worker in New York City.

Survivors include her son Ahamed Idris and daughters Rajia Idris Yamamoto and Maleca Horne. She is also survived by a host of beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her daughter Anura Van Bladel, her sister and five brothers.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
