Irene V. Shipman

Irene Virginia Shipman of Middletown NY, passed away Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, in Middletown. She was 55.

The daughter of Ronald and Linda Shipman, she was born May 20, 1967, in Middletown, NY.

She had a Bachelor’s degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee in music and all aspects of it. She was an avid dancer. She attended dance school for 12 years straight and had a strong passion for it. Wherever Irene went, her dog Savannah went, she was her baby. She had a great love for her family and friends.

Survivors include Her Mother Linda & her husband Curtis Behnke of Cuddebackville, NY, Brother Ronald W. Shipman Jr. & wife Christina of Maybrook, NY, Brother Thomas Vito Shipman of Montgomery, NY, Sister Gina Shipman of Liberty, NY, and Several Nieces & Nephews.

She was predeceased by Her Father Ronald Shipman Sr. and Her brother Robert “Buddy” Shipman.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday Oct.14th, 2022, 5-7pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden NY, 12586.

A celebration of life will take place Sunday Oct. 16th, 2-5pm, at the Maybrook VFW, 209 Main St, Maybrook, NY 12543.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your preferred Humane Society, or the family welcomes you to send dish gardens.
