Jeffrey John Rissinger

Jeffrey John Rissinger of Wallkill, NY, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, in Middletown. He was 63.

The son of the late Eugene Rissinger and Claire Forrest Williams, he was born January 28, 1961 in Warsaw, NY.

Jeffrey served in the United States Army and was a supply staff sergeant for Bravo Company of the 854th Engineer Battalion, Orangeburg, NY, as well as the 812th MP Company in Orangeburg, NY. He also served as an Army Ranger in 75th 2nd Batt. at Ft. Lewis, WA.

He is survived by his wife  Dona Rissinger, son Cory Rissinger, dear friends Michael and his wife Jamie Rocker,  and Jeff Jefferson, and all of his friends and soldiers he served with.

He was predeceased by his daughter Erin Lee Rissinger.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, 2pm-4pm at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.

Military Honors will follow at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Shawangunk Valley Fire Company.
