JoAnn (Urzo) Turk

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of JoAnn Turk on July 2, 2023, at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, N.Y. after a short but courageous battle with cancer. JoAnn, formerly of Highland, NY, was 74.

The only child of the late Michael Urzo and Jennie Vitello Urzo, she was born December 29, 1948, in Bronx, NY.

JoAnn is survived by her loving cousins and dear friends who became an important extended family to her.

Those who had the honor of knowing JoAnn will miss her dearly. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live eternally in our hearts.

Cremation will take place privately.
