John Michael Demshick

John Michael Demshick, 46 of Pine Bush, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly on August 25th 2021.

He was born on May 29, 1975 to the late Rolinda M Scott and Gerald C Demshick Sr.

John was predeceased by his beloved mother Rolinda M Scott. John sadly leaves behind his father and fishing buddy Gerald “Jerry” Demshick Sr and step mother Sandra Demshick of Modena NY along with his children: John Michael, Alyssa and Austin Demshick,  his siblings Jerry Demshick Jr of Fort Meyers Florida, Melissa Scott-Demshick of Walden NY, Richard Demshick of Marengo Ohio, his twin brother Ronald Demshick of Rexford NY,  Steven Demshick of Monticello NY and  step sister Sherri Masuch – Demshick of Modena NY along with many nieces, nephews and his very large circle of friends.

The Broken Chain

We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one
the chain will link again. 

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 4th from 1pm-3pm at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank Street Walden NY.
