Jonathan M. Smith of Walden, NY, passed away Friday September 19, 2025 in Newburgh. He was 41.

The son of John G. Thomas Jr. and Pamela A. Smith-Thomas, he was born November 5, 1983, in Brooklyn, NY.

Jonathan worked for American Lumber in Walden, NY.

He is survived by his daughter Kryslynn P. "Bookie" Smith, siblings Timothy Thomas, Tabitha Shannon, Teddi Thomas, Frederick Smith, Kina Thomas, John Thomas III, Anthony Smith, and Montgomery Smith and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Saturday, September 27, 2025, 10:30am-11:30am at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

Cremation will take place privately.
