Joseph Guardino Obituary

Joseph C. Guardino of Newburgh, NY, owner of Carvel Ice Cream, Newburgh, and a longtime resident of the area passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020, in Newburgh, surrounded by his family. He was 84.

The son of the late Charles Guardino and Rose Guardino, he was born September 14, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York.

He served in the Marine Reserves and then the Army during Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia at home, son, Steven Guardino and Jeanine of Newburgh, NY, daughter, Susan Guardino of Sandy Hook, CT, daughter-in-law, Audrey Guardino of Newburgh, NY, 5 Grand children and one Great Grandchild.

He was predeceased by his Son, Joseph Guardino of Newburgh, NY.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Mausoleum in Newburgh, NY.
