Josephine Mary (McCarthy) Joyce

Josephine Mary Joyce of Wallkill, NY, passed away Sunday April 20, 2025 in Wallkill. She was 84.

The daughter of the late Frank and Lily McDonell McCarthy, she was born August 20, 1940 in Macclesfield, England.

Josephine worked as a senior account executive for Media Syndication Global, Manhattan, NY.

She was the widow of Robert Moylan.

Josephine had seven children with Thomas Joyce Sr. -Thomas Joyce, Theresa Gilliams, Monica Joyce-Stypinski, who predeceased her, Owen Joyce, Matthew Joyce, Kristin Schaffer, and Erin Scully.

She is also survived by twenty grandchildren.

Cremation will take place privately.

A graveside service will take place Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11am at Ulster County Veterans Cemetery at the New Paltz Rural Cemetery, 81 Plains Road, New Paltz, NY 12561.
