Karl J. Davis

Karl J. Davis age 32 passed away peacefully at home from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy surrounded by his loving Family and Friends.

Karl was a lifelong resident of Montgomery. He was a graduate of Valley Central High School Class of 2007. Karl enjoyed potluck dinners with his friends. He enjoyed all celebrations including “his” birthdays, Super bowls, Halloween, New Year’s Eve, and Christmas family gatherings. He enjoyed fishing at Pleasure Lake at the cabin with his family. At home he enjoyed working on his computer spending time on Google, Facebook, Map Quest and Google Earth so he could travel the streets without leaving home. He loved the Kentucky Derby and all the betting aspects with his buddy Mark. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved playing his music. He leaves behind his beloved dogs, Apollo, Luna, and Stanley and his cat Banjo.

Karl is now reunited with his brother Bradley.

Karl is survived by his parents Charles & Elly Davis of Montgomery, Grandmother Margaret Davis (Nanny) of Walden; Aunts: Lia Aylward (Dennis) of Long Island, Virginia Venetis & companion Matt Lupinski of Campbell Hall, Markay Deavor (Leon) of Montgomery, Dorothy Ann Valk (JR) of Walden; Uncles: Harry Davis Jr. (Ann) of Montgomery, Tom Davis (Betty) of Pine Bush, Henry Pittner (Kathy) of Ulster Park, Karl Pittner (Mary Ann) of Syracuse, Hans Pittner of Goshen, Ed Nelson of Florida, Lenny Venetis (Kathleen) of Montgomery.

Karl also left behind so many wonderful cousins.

Karl is predeceased by his brother Bradley Davis, his Grandparents Nell (Oma) & Karl (Opa) Pittner, Harry (Pappy) Davis and Aunt Margaret Nelson.

Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021, 3-7pm, at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, 11am at Holy Name of Mary Church, Montgomery, NY 12549.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
