Kathleen Patricia Francis

Kathleen Patricia Francis of Montgomery, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023.  She was 69.

The daughter of Charles and Irene Cooney, she was born April 30, 1953, in Bronx, NY.  Kathy was married to the love of her life for 41 years, blossoming a large and beautiful immediate family.  She was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, a career in which she touched and shaped many lives.  Her favorite things to do included reading and spoiling her several grandchildren.  Kathy had the biggest heart and was the best of us, always caring for everyone around her.  She left a lasting impression on everyone she met with her upbeat personality and gorgeous smile.   

Survivors include her Husband Kenneth Francis of Montgomery, NY along with their 4 children.  Colleen Gluszak and her husband Mark Gluszak.  Meaghan Lane and her husband Samuel Lane. Kenneth C. Francis and his wife Ruby Francis. Kerry Armour and her husband Mathew Armour.  Her pride and joy; her grandchildren, Brooke, Bridget, Briar, Dillon, Sophie, Aubree, Breslin.  Her own siblings, Nancy and Bart Juliano, Charles and Maryann Cooney along with her many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was predeceased by her grandson Kevin Lane and her father and mother-in-law, John and Ethel Francis. 

Visitation will be Monday January 9, 2023, from 5-8pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY 12586.

Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday January 10, 2023, at 10:30 am at Holy Name of Mary Church 89 Union St. Montgomery, NY 12549.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Montgomery.
