Kathleen M. Orapello of Walden, NY, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, in Airmont, NY.  She was 81.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Mullery Finnegan, she was born October 12, 1941 in Manhattan, NY.

Kathleen worked as a chief communication director for CBS, New York, NY.

Survivors include her son Christopher R. Nilsson & his wife Suzanne, granddaughters Stacey Nilsson (Steve), Jessica Nilsson (Anthony) and Debbie Nilsson (Steve), great grandchildren Keagen, Julianna, Sadie, Ella, sister-in-law Peggy Finnegan and nephew Scott Finnegan.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brother Tom.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2023, 11am-1pm, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.

Cremation will take place privately.
