Lawrence "Larry" J. Lawless

Lawrence “Larry” J. Lawless Jr. of Gardiner, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was 60.

The son of the late Lawrence J Lawless Sr. and Lynda Fitzmaurice Purdy, he was born January 18, 1965, in Newburgh, NY.

Larry worked for the Cornwall Water Department, Cornwall, NY. He was a life member of the Walden Fire Department, Orange Hose Company. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping. Larry could listen to all genres of music and was an avid concert goer.

He was the widower of Lisa Marie Pratt-Lawless.

Larry is survived by his son Larry Lawless III, daughter Lauren Lawless, stepson Frank Pratt & Erin, stepson Brad Davis & Children, stepdaughter Ashley Colgan & husband Christian & Children, grandchildren Novalee, Frank Jr., and Jaxson, sister Dori & husband Michael, brother James Purdy & wife Daisymae, and several nephews.

Along with his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sister Janet Lawless.

Memorial visitation will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, 3:30pm-6:30pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the Walden Firehouse, 230 Old Orange Ave., Walden, NY 12586.
