Logan B. McDermott of Montgomery, NY, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, in West Palm
Beach, FL. He was 31.
The son of Bart and Naomi McDermott, he was born December 21, 1990 in Warwick, NY.
Logan was always friendly and highly driven from a young age, he loved sports, especially hockey and lacrosse. Logan played any and every sport there was all through his school years and wound up with a full scholarship to Pace University for lacrosse. Logan was very close with his young nephew Dalton, and they kept each other laughing all the time. Logan had a great sense of humor and always there to help if needed. He will be missed by all who knew him, he touched a lot of hearts on his journey through life. We love you and you will forever remain in our hearts.
Survivors include his parents Bart & Naomi McDermott of Montgomery, NY, brother Shane McDermott, sister Meaghan McDermott, Nephew Dalton McDermott, Grandparents Victor & Eunice Jimenez and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by Grandparents Bart McDermott and Marilyn Whittaker.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 12pm-1:30pm, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586. A service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Cremation will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald house in St. Louis Children's hospital.
