Loyal A. Hoffman

Loyal A. Hoffman Sr. of Marlboro, NY, formerly of Walden NY passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Carmel, NY. He was 64.

The son of the late  Myron A. Hoffman and Rose Addis, he was born January 1, 1961, in Middletown, NY.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 40 years, Mary Pillius, children Robert Hoffman of Newburgh, NY, Danielle Pillius of Walden, NY, Allison Pillius of Pine Bush, NY, John Hoffman of Napanoch, NY, Krystyna Hoffman of Marlboro, NY, Michael Hoffman of Newburgh, NY, Matthew Hoffman of Rosendale, NY, Kimberly Hoffman of Milford, PA, Hope Garza of Alabama, Loyal Hoffman Jr. of Marlboro, NY, and Luke Hoffman of Marlboro, NY; 14 grandchildren, sister Darla Hoffman, and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rose Addis and Myron A. Hoffman and brother, Gerald Hoffman.

A memorial service for Loyal, as well as for his mother Rose, will take place Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 3pm at the Walden Baptist Church, 38 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586. Rev. James VanHouten will officiate.
