Margaret Agnes Bealer

Margaret A. Bealer, age 78, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021. She was born in Manhattan, NY, to John and Margaret (Guerin) Schottler. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her passion and integrity for those she loved were unwavering. Her smile and kindness will live on forever.

Margaret was a dedicated mother, first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. 

Margaret is survived by her children: Lorraine McLaughlin of Queens, NY; Larry Bealer, and his wife, Chrissy of Montgomery, NY. Adored grandmother of Abigail and Zachary Bealer. She also leaves behind many other family members, dear friends, and sweet nieces and nephews. We will all miss her more than words can say.  

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, husband Lawrence A. Bealer, and loving brothers John and Vinny Schottler. 

Visitation will be Monday, November 22, 2021, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday, November 23, at 10:15am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery NY 12549.

Burial will be in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association, 2649 South Road, #101, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
