Maria (Kren) Eppich

Maria Eppich, a longtime resident of Walden, NY, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Walden.  She was 100.

The daughter of the late Frank Kren and Maria Marn Kren, she was born April 29, 1923 in Lienfeld (Livold), Gottschee Yugoslavia.

Maria was a member of the Gottscheer Country Club and the Gottscheer Heritage and Genealogy. She enjoyed baking, cooking and always loved being able to take care of her family.

She was the widow of Alois Eppich.

Survivors include her son Robert A. Eppich. Grandchildren Robert Eppich, Peter Eppich & his wife Danielle, Anna Eppich. Great grandchildren Mya and Joseph.

Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister Anna and brother Franz.

Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2024, 4pm-7pm, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

There will also be visitation Saturday, March 9, 2024, 10:30am-11:30am at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:00 PM at Most Precious Blood Church, 42 Walnut St., Walden, NY 12586.

Burial will take place at Wallkill Valley Cemetery.
