Maria Valentin Obituary

Maria I. Valentin of Montgomery, NY, a resident of the area passed away on Friday April 3, 2020, in Middletown, NY. She was 91.

The daughter of the late Jose Alcides Valentin Ortiz and Carmen Montero De Leon Valentin, she was born September 29, 1928 in Utuado, Puerto Rico.

Survivors include her son Saul Negron, his wife Margarita, son Angel Negron, his wife Sharon Kaye, son Norman Figueroa, his wife Jacquline; grandchildren: Tamara Figueroa, Delia Negron, Shaina Negron, Matthew Negron, Nora Alicia Figueroa, James Negron, Rani Negron; great grandchildren: Elias Rodriguez, Xyanaliz Figueroa, Soledad Figueroa, Joel Carillo, Siena Carillo, Camila Ramero.

She was predeceased by her sister Lydia, brothers Ferdinand, Victor, Jose Alberto Valentin

A funeral mass will occur when allowed.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Hudson Valley Ride for Kids, 302 Ridgefield Court, Asheville, NC 28806.
