Matilda Anne (McKinstrie) Garrison

Matilda Anne McKinstrie Garrison, known to friends as Millie, passed away peacefully at Garnet Medical Center on May 2, 2025, after a long illness. She was 57.

Born in Newburgh, NY on January 5, 1968, she grew up in Walden, NY, attended Valley Central schools and was a member of the Walden Baptist Church. The daughter of Dianne Decker McKinstrie and the late Ralph W. McKinstrie, she was predeceased by her son Bryan Steinard.  Matilda is survived by sons Gary Steinard Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Kyle Steinard of Walden, Russell Garrison of Walden, one daughter Karen Garrison of Newburgh and two brothers Dan McKinstrie of Blue Spring, MO and Ralph McKinstrie of Walden.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, to be held at the Walden Baptist Church.
