Michael Anthony Granieri

Michael Anthony Granieri, of Walden, NY, passed away peacefully Saturday August 19, 2023, surrounded by his wife Leonetta and his children in Middletown. He was 74 years old.

Michael was born on August 5, 1949 in the Bronx to Francis Paul and Anna Luciano Granieri. He was the oldest of six children. Michael, Joseph, Lauren, Dennis, Anthony & Thomas.

Michael married his childhood sweetheart, Leonetta, and they raised six children together.

Michael was a retired Chef. He liked working on computers, watching old movies and listening and singing to oldies. His children and grandchildren loved listening to his stories and going to him for advice.

He is survived by his wife Leonetta, son Frank Granieri & wife Dawn, grandson Nicholas; daughter Lisa Cordone & husband Leo, granddaughters Gabriella, Julieanna, Isabella; daughter Deana Granieri & husband Raymond Garcia, grandchildren Raymond, Camryn, Matthew; son Vincent Granieri, grandchildren Alyssa, Andrew; daughter Leanne Granieri-Saez & husband Jonathan, granddaughters Eliana, Emily; son Stephen Granieri.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

Visitation will take place Sunday, August 27, 2023, 2-5pm & 7-9pm, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 28, 2023, at 11:00am at Most Precious Blood Church, 42 Walnut St., Walden, NY 12586.

Burial will follow at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
