Michael J. Kiernan of Walden, NY, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Newburgh. He was 72.

The son of the late Edward and Florence Kiernan, he was born June 30, 1953, in Middletown, NY.

He was retired but had previously worked at the family’s luncheonette in Montgomery and

Michael was active in the civil air patrol and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was an avid Willie Nelson fan and was a former boy scout leader.

He is survived by his brother Edward Kiernan and son Christopher Kiernan.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, 2pm-4pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.
