Neil Warren Obituary

Neil W. Warren of Walden, NY, passed away Saturday, March, 27, 2021 in Middletown, NY. He was 82.

The son of the late Charles and Florence Brown Warren, he was born October 11, 1938 in Cornwall, NY.

Neil was a devoted husband and best friend to Sharon for 59 years. He was a beloved father and grandfather. Neil was affectionately known as Poppy to all of his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He served in the Marines from 1958-1962 and was a retired service technician for Montgomery Ward, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Survivors include his wife Sharon, daughter Melanie Roosa, daughter Kimberley Engness & Husband Kurt, grandsons Kyle Roosa, Ryan Roosa, Jonathan Roosa, Christopher Engness, granddaughter Meagan Engness and sisters Ruth Dueben & Jean Hinckley.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter Kaitlyn Engness and brothers James Robert Warren, Charles Warren, Calvin Warren.

Services will take place privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions can be made in Neil’s name to The National Museum of the Marine Corps, Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, 18900 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Triangle, VA 22172.
