Ozere L. Ware

Ozere L. Ware, “Pumpy”/Deacon Ware, of Maybrook, NY, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Middletown. He was 71.

The son of the late Ozere L. Ware Sr & Mattie Thomas, he was born June 19, 1953 in Newburgh, NY.

Ozere worked in maintenance for Cornerstone Health, Newburgh, NY.

Survivors include his wife Carol Ware at home, daughter Yolanda K. Ware of Newburgh, grandson Shondell L. Ware, great grandson Jayden L. Ware, stepchildren Shaniqua Grice of Newburgh, Michael Grice of Utica, Courtney Douthett & husband Lamont Douthett of Maybrook, Jordan Parker of Maybrook,step grandchildren  Tajay Whitted, Tyreik Washington, Terrance Anderson, Nigel Douthett, Mya Grice, Makayla Grice, Miliah Grice, Aria Douthett, Jemma Douthett, Jordan Parker Jr., step great grandchildren Layla Washington, Teigen and Terrence Anderson, sister Marietta Woody of South Carolina, sister Bobi Jean Cleg-Ware of Schenectady, NY, sister Easter Dolcey of Georgia, brother Cornelius Ware of Middletown, NY and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, July 12, 2024, 9am-10am at Goodwill Church, 2135 NY-208, Montgomery, NY 12549.

A service will follow at 10am at the church.

Cremation will take place privately.
