Patricia Thietje of Wallkill, NY, a longtime resident of the area, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in Wallkill. She was 75.
The daughter of Martin Capuano and Barbara Opperman Capuano, she was born March 12, 1948 in Queens, NY.
She was the widow of Jerry Thietje.
Survivors include her son James Thietje and Kimberly, son Jerry Thietje, daughter Sarah Reed; 4 grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Sean & Ryan; Sisters Barbara Ann Sutera and Virginia Martin, brothers William Capuano & wife Beverly, and James Capuano; brother-in-law Larry Salabec, sister-in-law Doris Capuano, and sister-in-law Sandra Capuano.
Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Ann, sister Dorothy Zarcadolas, sister Emma Salabec, brother Martin Capuano, brother John “Jack” Capuano, brother Charles Capuano.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2023, 10am-11am at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12586.
A service will follow at 11am at the funeral home.
Internment of ashes will follow at Bruynswick Rural Cemetery, Wallkill, NY.
