Pedro Rivera

Pedro Rivera, age 98 of Ellenville, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday May 10, 2020 at Ellenville Regional Hospital. He enjoyed his 40+ years of retirement as a Joiner for Amalgamated Industrial and Toy Co., New York, NY.

He was best known for his love of fishing, gardening, and building bird houses.

The son of the late Manuel Rivera and Felipa Ripoll Rivera, he was born April 18, 1922 in Mayaguez Puerto Rico.

He was the widower of Esther Malave Rivera.

Survivors include his son in Law, Howard, grandchildren: Linda, William (Nes), Ilene (Sergio), Marcus (Inna), Eric (Hilary) and Aliza, great grandchildren: Billie, Chelsea, Elishia, Veronica, Jonah, Megan and Karolina.

He was predeceased by His wife, Esther and daughter Olivia Forman.

Burial will take place on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11am at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Autism Society and American Cancer Society.
