On July 31, 2022, Peter Ginkel, most recently of Warwick, New York, lost his life to a long illness.
He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly, his wife Anne, his son John, his daughter Laura and his grandsons Andreas and Jonah.
Peter was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a professional engineer. He traveled the world for both business and pleasure. He and his family lived in Europe for several years, and he had proudly stepped foot on all seven continents. Peter was a man of many gifts, all of which he shared kindly and generously. He could build bridges, fix any machine, quote Shakespeare, and find a creative solution to any problem. He hiked mountains, enjoyed a good Scotch, laughed with friends and always accepted people for who they were. He lives in the memories of all who loved him.
