Shirley Temple Kaus of Pine Bush, NY, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, in Wallkill. She was 82.
The daughter of the late William Williams Sr. & Ida Pardee Williams, she was born February 28, 1944, in Newburgh, NY.
Shirley was a longtime resident of Pine Bush, living there for 28 years before moving to be with her daughter Janis under the care of Hospice.
She is survived by her son John Williams of Florida, son Donald Lake (Karen) of Colorado, daughter Janis Green (Ken) of Wallkill, daughter Tammy Mann of South Carolina, daughter Lisa Brown of Wallkill, grandchildren Stephanie Wendt (Colin) of Florida, Monica Cornely (Jeffrey) of Florida, Kevin and Kyler Lake of Colorado, John McNamee (Sharon), Michael McNamee (Laura), Richard McNamee (Jennifer), all of Walden, Patrick Redding and Delta Redding of Missouri, Tammy of South Carolina, Nikkie, Else and Dominique of Delaware, Shirley Brown of Wallkill, Donna Weddle of Pine Bush; great grandchildren John Patrick, Cillian, Joseph, Ryan, Ronan, AJ, Molly, Emilia, Cora, Cole, Ophelia, Devin & Dominik; Sister Hattie Lukach of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind her precious dog Bebe of 14 years.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Ida, Anna, Andy and Bill Williams- who passed only four days before her, and grandson William Redding.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan, who were a great comfort throughout this whole process. The family cannot thank you enough.
Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 5pm-7pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.
Cremation will take place privately.
