Shirley Ann (Treacy) Knapp

Shirley Ann Knapp of Newburgh, NY, a longtime resident of the area, passed away December 7, 2022. She was 80. 

The daughter of William Treacy and Beatrice Mitchell Treacy, she was born November 15, 1942 in Cornwall, NY. 

Shirley was a devoted wife and mother of four boys. She was a self employed hair stylist for more than 20 years, and was an avid crafter, enjoying crocheting and quilting. 

Survivors include her devoted husband of 60 years Ralph Knapp of Newburgh, NY, sons Brian & Lori Knapp of Fultonville, NY,  Steven Knapp and fiancé Kelly Morton of Miromar Lakes, FL, Ralph Knapp and fiancé Britta McNamara of Largo, FL; and sister Sheila Chaffin of Climax, NC.

She was predeceased by her son Michael Knapp
